A Little bit about me :
Australia’s premiere female Turntablist, DJ D has been dubbed the first lady in a number of arenas, with a reputable career as a DJ/Turntablist since 1998, she played her first gig in 1988. DJ D is known for her achievements in the DMC World DJ Championships, having placed: – 4th in Australian national finals 2021, with her experimental talkbox turntable; – 8th in Australian national finals 2020 with with her world first hydraulic 1200 turntable; – 3rd in the NSW heats in 2015 as only female competitor; – 8th in Australian national finals 2005 as only female competitor. DJ D produces 2 of the nation’s first nonstop DJ mixed radio shows on CRN weekly. Her experience on air, on tour and in her 1964 Chevrolet Impala has seen her host to a number of artists including Xzibit, Naughty By Nature, Montell Jordan, Blackstreet, Ryan Leslie, Jon B, Horace Brown, Tank, Jodeci, B.B.D, 112, Redman, D.O.C., Spice 1, Tha Alkaholiks, Masta Ace, DJ Yella, Green Lantern, DJ Jam & DJ Maseo + more.
